Ministry of Shame

Corporal Tony Duncan was shot and wounded in the leg in Iraq, as soon as he was back on his feet he was in Afghanistan taking part in the huge offensive named Panthers Claw which finished in Helmund Province this week, a spectaular operation that has cleared huge swathe of  land of Taliban fighters and made the area safe, safe enough for people to return to their homes and take part in upcoming elections.

This was achieved at great personal cost to our troops, at least 20 were killed over that 4 week period. Now in a unbelievable action The Ministry of Defence is taking Tony to court arguing the compensation he received, in Corporal Duncans case £46.000 was to much.

This from the same Ministry of Defence that has paid out many Millions to Iraqi civilians who claim to have been ill treated by our soldiers.

Every day we  hear new story’s about  the incompetence of this Government, even their timing in bringing this case stinks, as Ministry officials argued their case in court  another plane flew overhead bringing home the bodies of four more British soldiers  killed in action. they should change their name To the Ministry of Shame.
