Premier league Super injunction

Rumours are once again doing the rounds that a famous footballer, “ a household name” as he has been described has acquired a so called super injunction to block details emerging about his private life.

Putting together the hints the papers have been able to drop without breaking any contempt laws.

I have an idea who it may be, I am going to tentatively stick my neck out and say its Rio Ferdinand of Man Utd, If I am wrong, sorry Rio and no harm done, and if  I am right and we will know in 3  weeks when the newspaper appeals are heard and the injunction is overturned (and it will be) then its another DurdensView exclusive.

David Beckham

So David Beckham is upset with England manager Fabio Capello for his handling of the  announcement that he has retired him from international football, ok I have some sympathy with the manner the story broke and maybe after years of loyal service Beckham should have been treated with a little more respect, a phone call before he told the world in a TV interview would have been the right way to do it.

But Beckham should get of his high horse and consider himself lucky that he got his last 10/12 caps at all anyone who knows anything about football knows it was a financial decision by the FA to keep him in the squad, what ever else Beckham is he is good box office and his name on the team sheets keep sponsors happy, so ride of into the sunset David and consider yourself fortunate to have had so many caps at all.

Crouch and Abbey

“Crouch banished to Couch” Screamed the headline in the sun this morning referring to the fallout over stories that Peter Crouch had paid a teen hooker for sex over the weekend. His FiancĂ© Abbey Clancy and he had apparently had a blazing row, according to the Suns “sources” and she had banned him from the bedroom.

Can we trust the “source” if it expect us to believe that The millionaire footballer lives in a one bedroom house.

Martin O’Neill Shock Resignation

After catching my breath with the news of the shock resignation of Martin O’Neill I sat and pondered on who his replacement could be, it only took me a minute to realise I don’t care and I don’t suppose anyone outside Birmingham does either.

Naomi Campbell

Business must be quiet at the Hague where the Trial of Charles Taylor the former Liberian dictator is taking place, the emphasis being placed on whether or not Taylor gave the super model Naomi Campbell “blood diamonds” seems to be taking over the case.

Lets focus guys,  he is there being tried for crimes against humanity, the blood of thousands of people are on his hands, does it really matter what the already proven liar Naomi Campbell is saying, her testimony has already been discredited by two witness’s one of whom was Miss Campbell's own manager.

So lets dismiss Campbell’s statement and get on with the trial, by her own admission she is frightened of the repercussions of her appearance at the trial and is scared that Taylor may reach out and harm her through his supporters, she has said as much in court, so who can blame her for lying.

The prosecution have enough on Taylor without Campbell so lets get on with it, lock him up throw away the key and move on.
